Crystal Rose Skin Clinic specialsises in natural, minimally invasive, chemical free skin care treatments, tailor made to each individual’s skin profile. Skin specialist, Rosy Boulton, combines her medical experience as a Registered Nurse with her enthusiasm for providing the very latest in skin care technology and treatments that make the world of difference to her clients.
Rosy asked me me to create a new, future proof visual identity design for her growing business. It was important for her to emphasise on the more clinical aspect of her treatments, which she equally offers to women and men. This visual identity combines Rosy’s treatment ethics with her personal approach and adds a touch of simple elegance to capture the aesthetic results of her treatments.
The central element is the Crystal Rose – the geometric flower symbol constructed from hexagon shapes which are found in nature everywhere. Hexagons make up the molecules of organic matter and also imitate the shape of skin cells. A clean, characterful typeface with contrasting thick and thin lines and a palette of classic, timeless colours with the addition of a bright yellow bring this visual identity to life.
Ten months into my new business, I knew I had to change my brand identity to help get my message across and set me apart from local competitors.
Franzi came strongly recommended and from the offset I was always involved in the development of ideas, concepts and colours. I loved the way Franzi immediately immersed herself into the project with such vigour and enthusiasm, paying attention to the minutest detail which really impressed me. Understanding what my business represented was key to the visual identity design and Franzi delivered my message simply and clearly.
Working with Franzi was such a pleasure and I am delighted with the end results. Franzi is professional, with a warm personality and a keen eye for detail.
