Cath Bright is an experienced sought-after management and business skills trainer and copywriter. Cath works with a variety of clients in the public and private sector to help develop and improve workflow and efficiency. In her copywriting role she supports businesses through blog writing, testimonial and case study production, marketing materials and awards submissions.
Cath has held senior management roles in large public organisations. She is extremely professional and real fun to work with. Cath works with clients in professional services and was keen to align her new Visual Identity with the look and feel of the branding of her corporate clients. She also wanted her professional career and cheerful personality shine through.
We have designed a wordmark in sentence case to create an open, approachable and conversational feel which highlights Cath’s client approach. The forward momentum she creates for the businesses she works with is symbolised in the angled quotation marks – a sign of her trade which can also be read as an arrow. Throughout her stationery we make deliberate use of this graphic to emphasise Cath’s messaging.
To support the logo design, we have chosen clean classic fonts and a timeless navy blue as base colour. It is contrasted by a bright spring green to play on Cath’s surname, her cheerful personality and to highlight her motto: “Be Bright. Be brilliant.”
Having a portfolio career means I need to have a consistent and clear identity throughout my different workstreams to maintain a clear reputation. I approached Franzi without much of an idea of what I was after – I just knew I needed something.
She made it all very simple and easy for me to understand, and proposed a logo and visual identity that was perfect for my client base, and my personality. Whilst she presented different options, and there were a few tweaks, I was amazed how spot-on she was from the start.
I found Franzi very easy to work with. She listened, advised and was not afraid to say no, if I suggested something that she felt would not work. To be honest I needed to provide very little input. Franzi gained an understand of my market, my business and my personality and provided a fantastic outcome.
