Developing a distinctive, memorable and coherent Visual Identity is a crucial part of either starting up a new company or rebranding an existing business. It takes time to get it just right which is why I don’t offer speedy, overnight turnarounds, your business deserves better than that.

This is my process:
Every one of my projects starts with meeting the people behind the business, you. You are the one who has the vision and you are what will inspire me to when I start the design process. I like face to face meetings or we can arrange a Skype call if that is more convenient. I will listen carefully to your story and learn about your ethos, philosophy and what makes your brand unique. We will talk about your goals and dreams but also about your concerns. I was a start-up not so long ago myself so I understand the challenges that come with starting your own business. I fully appreciate how hard it is to hand over creative control, so keeping an open dialogue with you throughout the project is a very important part of the process. Before I start the creative process, I will prepare a Design Brief for you which sets out the project work in detail, includes costing and any other important information you need.
When you are happy with the design brief I will research the industry and competitors to make sure that your Visual Identity will truly make you stand out from the crowd.
Lots and lots of sketching starts of the idea building process. Ideas are sketched, changed and pushed to a new level.
You will receive up to three different concepts with mock ups to help you visualise the end product. I invite you to give feedback on what you like and dislike and where you would like to go from there. I always aim to get it right first time with your logo concepts. However, tastes are subjective and I am more than happy to incorporate your ideas and feedback in a further round of revisions.
With your chosen logo I will create your marketing assets. Business stationery, leaflets, brochures, business cards and anything else you need. I can also include Visual Identity Guidelines in your final deliverable. Because of my solid background in marketing, I don’t just produce beautiful artwork, my very thorough approach also takes into account core advertising and marketing concepts.
