Ziska, that's me, Franzi.
I live and breath design.
I believe great design solves problems.
I am passionate about helping brands look amazing.
My style is fresh, minimalistic, timeless and cliche-free. I love bold and expressive colours (in which I love to dress myself too!) but I also have a soft spot for elegant, more muted colour combinations. I am obsessed with beautiful typefaces and typography and I can spend ages browsing fonts to find the perfect typeface for you.
I find aesthetic pleasure in the simplest things in life - the crisp green leaves of birch trees in spring, the hands on a watch, sunlight glistening on water, a stunning book cover or the packaging of a luxurious lipstick.
I have always been a true creative at heart with an ‘eye’ for design and my jobs have always reflected this.
During my time at university, student jobs and internships gave me a first taste of professional creative work, learning hands-on about photography, artwork and professional filmmaking.
When I moved to the UK in 2008, I started working in the marketing departments of Suffolk-based businesses. In each role a large, and favourite, part of the job was to design marketing deliverables to support the business strategy.
Eventually I decided to take the plunge. I quit my marketing job to pursue what I love most: creating beautiful graphics to help businesses look great and I haven’t looked back since.
In my spare time you will often find me hanging out in art galleries or out and about with my camera.
I regularly take part in professional workshops or attend industry-accredited courses to further develop my knowledge and skills. I am also a member of AIGA, the professional association for design.
Giving back to the community is very important to me which is why I donate a percentage of my profits to the Papworth Trust, a great charity who make it their mission to ‘create a world where disabled people are seen for what they can do’.
